Questions, answered straight

Do I need to add VAT?

No. We are not VAT-registered, so there is no VAT to add. The prices you see are the prices you pay.

How fast is it?

You get a free proof within 2 working days of your first email. Starter sites go live within 7 days of your yes.

Who owns my website and domain?

You do, from day one: your words, your photos and your domain name. We look after the domain in our Cloudflare account so it just works, and we transfer it to you free whenever you ask.

Can I take my site elsewhere?

Yes. You get a full copy of your site (a static export you can host anywhere) once it is paid off, when your 24 months of Pay Monthly are complete, or if you leave Care. The code we build sites with stays ours and is licensed to you to keep using with your site.

What happens after 24 months of Pay Monthly?

The 24-month minimum is done and your full export is yours. If you would like us to keep hosting and looking after it, you can carry on with a Care plan.

How long is the Care commitment?

Care has a 12-month minimum. Pay Monthly has a 24-month minimum and already includes hosting and Care.

What counts as an edit?

One edit is up to 30 minutes of changes: for example new prices, opening hours, a few photos or a paragraph of text. Care includes 30 minutes a month and Care Plus 2 hours. Unused time does not roll over to the next month.

How quickly do you reply to edit requests?

Within 2 working days on Care, and within 1 working day on Care Plus.

Can I edit the site myself?

Yes. Editing it yourself is included in Business, and is £10 a month on Starter.

Will you call me?

No. We work by email only, so there are no calls and no pushy follow-ups. Reply "stop" at any time.

Do you add reviews or badges?

Only real ones. Reviews appear only with the reviewer’s permission, and badges like Gas Safe or TrustMark only after we have checked them on the official register. We re-check them every year.
